I think it’s finalized. The non BSC game dates are all speculative:

Week 1, Sept. 1st: @ Colorado
Week 2, Sept. 8th: @ New Mexico State
Week 3, Sept. 15th: vs. Northern Colorado
Week 4, Sept. 22nd: vs. North Dakota*
Week 5, Sept. 29th: @ Idaho State*
Week 6, Oct. 6th: @ Southern Utah*
Week 7, Oct. 13th: vs. Weber State*
Week 8, Oct. 20th: @ Eastern Washington*
Week 9, Oct. 27th: vs. Cal Poly*
Week 10, Nov. 3rd: vs. Montana State*
Week 11, Nov. 10th: Bye
Week 12, Nov. 17th: @ the farm extension*

*Big Sky Conference Game

I would prefer a bye earlier in the year but having it before the Causeway isn’t bad either. If the graduation voids can be filled, there are a lot of winnable games on the schedule. I don’t like the 2 money games but at least one of them is winnable. My guess is Homecoming will be the CP game, but it would make more sense if WSU is the designated Homecoming game to try and draw more fans to that game as CP will probably draw at least 12k without the Homecoming label. I also like that it's another full D-1 schedule. A non-D1 matchup would have scheduled us out of the playoffs.

Wanless is probably crapping his pants about UND coming to Sac.

(6-5 fellas)...

I like the 2012 schedule far better than this years schedule. Colorado has won only one game this year and New Mexico State has won only a few over weak teams and lost to San Jose State. We have a good shot at both these games if we can ever get our act back together! I would like the bye closer to mid season but you can't have everything.

I hope this is a joke!

No. I just have faith in Coach Sperbeck to make the required corrections for next year. As others in this thread have already noted, these FBS teams are no guaranteed loss.

At least I'm not going COMPLETELY myopic as I've done in the past and claiming 15-0.

Are you sure this is the OCC schedule? Everything I've seen had us opening next year at ASU, including SacState Sports.

No I’m not sure and I might have the ASU and Colorado years mixed up. I am sure about the UNC being a home OOC game though. Someone in the comments section of SSS posted that they heard the radio folks say Colorado and NMSU for 2012 so I went with that. After re-reading the SSS article, Parker has ASU for next season.

Edit: Ok I’m back to being sure about Colorado for 2012 and ASU for 2013. Per the ASU site, their 2012 schedule is already set and it does not have Sac State on it. Here is a very old article that includes ASU's 2012 schedule:

ASU has been 2013 for several years. Unless something has changed Parker posted the wrong information.

I am not sure what is up with next year's schedule, but here is what is on the Colorado site for 2012:

Date Opponent Location Time (MST) Results Media
Sat, Sep 01 Colorado State at Denver, Colo. TBA

Sat, Sep 08 TBA TBA TBA

Sat, Sep 15 Fresno State at Fresno, Calif. TBA

I realize that this season is a huge disappointment, but with beating up on the farm extension still to look forward to this year I think it is a little too early to start talking about 2012. And considering that there are conflicting reports on what the schedule is going to look like I think that further proves my case. lol

Yep, Sac State Sports mentions ASU as the opener in 2013 in one place and another place it reads that ASU is next years's opener. So it indeed appears at this time that Colorado will be the opener in 2012, ASU in 2013, Cal in 204 and University of Washington in 2015. And Weber State was indded the 5th home game mentioned on the radio last Saturday for next season The UNC game is the one BSC opporent on the 2012 schedule at this time that will not count towards the BCS title race for Sac State.

Let's Go Horents against ISU and UC Davis!!!

I am not sure how people are still saying that we will be opening with Colorado. Both Colorado and Colorado State's websites have them playing each other on Sept 1. Colorado's website does have a TBA on Sept. 8th. Maybe we will play them on the 8th. The website below has New Mexico State with a TBA on Sept 1. Maybe we go

New Mexico State Sept 1
Colorado Sept 8

I agree with you but see the Cal Poly game as a win.
