Conference rank: I think this Eastern team can finish at best 3rd, and at worst 5th. I really think we will see the kind of improvement we have been waiting for. This young team is experienced and SO talented.
(ESPN predicts Eastern to finish 5th, so do the Big Sky coaches).

Starting 5: PG- Drew Brandon (Juco Transfer)
SG- Tyler Harvey
SF- Danny Powell (Redshirted last season)
PF- Venky Jois
C- Martin Seiferth
Key Reserves: Parker Kelly - SG
Ognjen Miljkovic - SF
Thomas Reuter - PF
Felix Von Hofe - SF
Daniel Hill - PG

Breakout Player Prediction: Haven't seen any of the freshman play. But I think Tyler Harvey will be the breakout player for this team. We already know what Venky, and Martin will bring. If Harvey can play like how he finished last year, the Eagles will be tough to beat.

Potential Post Season Award Predictions: Venky Jois - BCS First Team
Tyler Harvey - BCS Second Team
Drew Brandon- Newcomer of the year
Ognjen Miljkovic - Freshman of the year

Non-conference wins- I think the Eagles have a shot at beating Saint Mary's, UC Irvine, Seattle, Boston U. Very tough non-Conf schedule. But will prepare the young team for a tougher Big Sky.

I agree with the predicted finishing spots 3rd-5th. I don't think we have a shot at St. Mary's, but the other 3 we stand a good chance. If we stay healthy this could be a very good year. We have to nail our 3's and get back on defense. Go Eags!!
