Anyone know how recruiting is going? I know there are two preps from Co that have committed, but how about out of state? Any one from Flint this year?

Offensive lineman from Kansas

Creek running back, and Leilon Willingham's brother Tahj has committed to the Bears. He wasn't hearing anything from other FCS schools but was hearing from a couple RMAC schools. Why are we offering these guys? Shouldn't we aim higher?

We had a big recruiting weekend. Anyone know who was here? I'm glad I'm talking to myself on this thread. :roll:

I'll talk to you Beardown. There were recruits from Texas, Kansas, California, Oregon, Florida, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, as well as Colorado. There might be a state or two that I'm leaving out.

Thanks man. Even if it's a two person thread that's fine. Recruiting is important, gotta keep up with it.

I can't contribute but I really appreciate the updates. One of the things I love about this board. It allows me to be closer to the action than my geographic separation of 1,700 miles would normally dictate.

Bears land California RB Ryan Wolpin.

Love High Steet Deli. Mmmm.....

Nice job staff on landing Wolpin. Outstanding!!!

Slostang, it looks like he comes from a very successful high school program in Santa Margarita. I believe they were featured on ESPN2 earlier in the season. I don't know anything about high school football in California.

Welcome to UNC Wolpin. You will be part of rebuilding a once great football program.

Running back coach/Director of Football Operations Terrance Robinson is a good follow on Twitter for inside knowledge of the program. He was just in New Orleans and Baton Rouge recruiting.
@CoachT_Rob

Guard Coleman McCann commits to UNC.

I wonder if Joey O'conner will become a Bear. He recently transferred from Ohio State. He's got a bad knee injury, really bad though.

Santa Margarita is one of the top programs in the state which places a number of players each year on BCS programs rosters. Good pick up for the Bears.
