AVC’s Players Back From Portland State University

It was a long flight home for AVC’s Larry Slaughter and Mike Scott. They were both impressed with the location of Portland State University in the heart of the bustling and busy Portland, Oregon. Larry Slaughter and Mike Scott toured the campus including the weight room, gym, and dormitories. They both mentioned that they especially liked the weight facilities and dormitory rooms.

They met some of the players on the team who were very complementary about the program. The AVC visitors felt they were treated very well by the coaching staff and both were offered a scholarship by Coach Geving before they left for home. The decision is now with Larry and Mike. No additional information at this time but if either player provides me with more data you will be the first to know.

Slaughter's a power forward, Benton's 6'8", Scott seems to be a point guard.
