2013 Recruiting Wish List

In anticipation of the upcoming announcement of the 2013 mens basketball recruits signed I want to share my wish list. Coach Hayford shared during his last radio show, he would like to sign three to four recruits for the upcoming season. Various media reports (i.e. rivals.com, espn.com, etc.) have stated Eastern has shown interest in Corey Langerveld (6-6 wing from Pullman WA), Chris Sarbaugh (6-3 point guard transfer from NIC) and DesJuan Newton (6-2 JC guard from Arizona and played at Garfield high school in Washington.) In addition to these three, I am hoping they also sign Michael Middlebrooks (6-9 JC F/C from NIC.) I haven't seen any reports linking middlebrooks to Eastern, but I would love it if it happened.

It looks like Chris Sarbaugh recently signed today with San Diego. It might work out better for the eags to have Harvey start at point due to last years great play from him at the point. If they only sign three players, they could give scholarships to Parker, Tyler, and Garret Moon.

Maybe Hayford will pull some international players and surprise us like last year. Need some guards that's for sure. Hopefully Newton comes out way, it looks like he's out in Cheney right now on a visit so that's a good thing to have us in his mind late in the game. I like the Pullman kid too, hopefully we can keep him in state and pretty close to home. April 17th is late signing day, hopefully Hayford gets a strong class. And Kelly should have a schollie that's ridiculous
