Poor play calling and poor QB play were the reasons for the loss - not the lack of a hotel room.

Very true, I was at the game, a lot of questionable things were going on. I was not saying that a 125 mile bus ride on game day, dropping the team off in a strange locker room four hours before kick off and entering the stadium for the first time during pregame warmups was responsible for the loss. My point is why not give the team every advantage to be successful? This is supposedly Division 1 football, lets do it right. I doubt that the dugpilers will be busing up to Reno (same distance) on game day this Saturday.

I agree that as a Division I program you need to act like one. But this discussion shouldn't overshadow the factors that contributed to the loss during the game - piss poor offense! Hopefully this team will find a way to stay healthy this week and come ready to play when the season really opens against Southern Oregon.
