Yep and after watching this and the video on Hornetsports, I thought if this was the height of our enthusiasm level, I may need to bring a pillow and blanket to the games this year....

Several JC additions and a couple of high school kids added to the roster, with Dre Terrell now showing as well as a JC RB by the name of Garrett Steele, a 2 star recruit out of high school that we had offered. Nolan Mercker, a QB and punter is also showing, but the kicker from Hilmar High is not on the roster yet.

Great videos. Hope they do this for every position.

I have not seen a fall football camp schedule....does anyone know if the team is going to have a fall football scrimmage game that is open to the public?

The annual Bee a Hornet Green and Gold scrimmage is August 16th at 9 AM in Hornet Stadium. Free admission and on field drills for the kids afterwards.

As a regular season ticket holder, I have no enthusiasm for this season. The coach looks lost, as well as, the players.

This is Hornet turf, bet everyone want to abandon this field, so why would should anyone care?

Dumb question after watching the video, but wasn't the team's uniforms/helmet color scheme supposed to change? I recall seeing a picture of a white helmet with a gold stripe several months ago. Is that change not happening now?

That video is not indicative of practice. The energy is high and the tempo is FAST. Would recommend trying to catch a practice, believe first day of full gear this AM at 9.

I just LOVE a QB-P. Such a dude would know what he's doing when it's time to quick kick...

...oh, wait..."modern" football fans think that's "giving up." Never mind....

There is plenty to look forward to. Too many returning players and too many winnable games on a weak schedule to not expect at least a typical middle of the road season. I’m not going to put too much stock either way based on how the team and coaches look on a couple of fall camp youtube videos.

As someone who has inside knowledge, practice has been way more active and spirited since Coach Sears has taken over. I suggest you guys attend practice. I can guarantee your outlook for the season will change. This team is going to be light years better than last year.

If a fall camp schedule was posted, maybe people would know what time practices are. So far all I've seen is the time for the scrimmage this weekend.

Sounds like they are keeping some guys out of camp to get/keep them healthy. There is a lot of size on that DL.

Up, thanks for the insight. Did Sears start camp refreshing the basics? Ditto on posting practice schedule from SD.

Looks like De'jon Coleman hit the gym pretty hard this offseason. Sounds like Lawanson is pretty excited...I like it.

These are great videos! Love the Berger upgrades this video with the polo, logo mic, and the perfectly quaffed hair! Lol...

Coach Lawanson looks to be a great addition and Jordan Robinson is a stud in waiting. The RBs need to step up this year. There's a lot of experience in that backfield with plenty of potential just aching to be realized!

Sankey is going to be a wrecking ball at LB.

I was expecting to see a heavy-footed sankey at LB, but holy crap he looks huge and speedy! This is gonna be fun! Wreck shop!
