2015 Recruits

Hornets got a verbal commit from 6'7" Grant Dressler from Palo Verde High in Las Vegas...never seen him so I have no info on him...

Kid looks like agood pickup, good defensive stats #702/7 small forward by max preps

Congrats Hornets.

Dressler looks like a solid pickup, who I'm betting Katz would like to see fill the Mills role eventually. He's more athletic than Mills, though his frame is slight, and looks to be a decent set shooter from 3. Give the kid a year to grow and mature and I think this is a good pickup!

After watching a couple of highlight tapes (I hate evaluating on highlight tapes) it looks like he is a little thin, but that is to be expected when you have a late growth spurt. He only averaged 5.1 as a junior role player but grew 2 inches and averaged 19pts and 8.6rebs as a senior leader on the state D1 runner up. Nice to get a kid from a winning program. Looks like Katz has found another raw recruit with a lot of up side.

Welcome to Sac State Grant!!

May u have an amazing four years at your new outstanding university and help our basketball program continue to excel and represent our outstanding excellence in the classroom. And may u see the administration at your new Division 1 university get a new facility built . All of your fellow students and alumni are now looking forward to winning seasons!!!

Welcome Grant! The Hornetsports release indicates that this is the final signing. Since 4 players graduated, was one a walk-on? Or is Katz giving the last schollie to someone currently on the roster?

Went to the 6 county all star game last night in Modesto. Both of Sac's local recruits played and played well. Joshua Patton was named MVP and Jeff Wu scored at least 15pts with 4 3pt hoops. I think we may have a couple of good team type players here.
