With the 2014 season now over, time to look forward to 2015. Another tough schedule, but a little more balanced with 5 home and 6 road games. I'd say 5-6 wins at best, and 3-4 at worst.

2015

Sept 5 - @ Oregon St
Sept 12 - @ North Dakota St
Sept 19 - Sacramento St
Sept 26 - @ Northern Colorado*
Oct 3 - Southern Utah*
Oct 10 - @ Montana*
Oct 17 - North Dakota*
Oct 24 - @ Northern Arizona*
Oct 31 - @ Eastern Washington*
Nov 7 - UC Davis*
Nov 14 - BYE
Nov 21 - Idaho St*

2014 didn't go as planned. Another 2 win season, yet, we have reason to hope. Before the season started Hill said that the Cats would be competitive. If anything that is exactly what they were. Except for their first game the Cats had a chance to win. Turnovers, and poor execution either on defense or offense, usually ended up being the deciding factor. Look at last weekend, two TOs in the fourth that really hurt the Cats. That's the game. Allowing big plays and penalties are things that need to be cleaned up. Regardless, Weber Football is on the rise. There are a lot of pieces to the puzzle in place. Now they just have to be fitted and the Sky's the limit for this program.

Pieces of the puzzle still in place for the Cats.

Offense:
QB - Jadrian Clark JR/Billy Green JR (I've heard that Leckington Soph and Bradshaw RFR could both compete for the starting job)
RB - Zach Smith JR (Eric Wilkes Soph had a lot of carries and will be better)
TE - Helam Heimuli JR/Cody Mckague JR (Raphael Longangu Soph could make a push for getting starters mins)
WR - Drew Batchelor Soph
WR - Cameron Livingston JR
WR - Darryl Denby Soph (Kamana Kaimikaua SR could start at anytime too)
OL - Justin Turner SR, AJ Wilcox JR, Shane Oliverson SR, Joe Hawkins SR, Cameron Young JR, Tui Chricton JR, and Tyron Brown JR will all be back. Along with Max Curtis JR, Mike Cisneros Soph, who saw some time this past season. Next Baron Bruce RFR, Ismael Betancourt RFR, and Nick Giles RFR will all be available. Duncan Farnsworth should be back from his mission. More line depth is desperately needed, but I feel really good about where our OL is at right now. We will have 5-6 highly experienced lineman back.

Defense:

OT - Jake Gallegos JR, McKay Murphy JR, Likio Pope Soph, and Rayshawn Henderson Soph is a great place to start
DE - Adam Lewis Soph and Justin Carlson SR. I've heard transfer Vince Coleman SR is a really good player and should start next season.
LB - The Cats lose no one, but will have Alema Key Soph and Emmett Tela Soph back from injury. This might be the Cats strongest area next season. Luke King SR, Felix Woods JR, Roman Valenzuela SR also will be back.
DB - Taron Johnson Soph and Cordero Dixon SR (this is one area of the field that needs immediate help)
S - Mitch Tulane Soph and Josh Burton JR (Jawain Harrison played a lot as a freshman)

P - Blake O'Neil SR
PK - Josh Kealamakia SR

As Wildcat fans, with added depth, we should be somewhat excited about this team. Our LBs could really be dangerous next year.

One huge key to improving in 2015 will be improving the turnover margin. That alone probably cost the 2014 team 2-4 wins.

Consistant QB play would be nice for starters.

More production from our running game.

Better pass defense

Things like that could takes us from a 2-10 team to a contender we were in just about every game this year, but turnovers, mental errors and lack of offensive firepower kept us from winning a lot of games.
