2016-2017 Schedule

This isn't really about the 16-17 sched but the Hornets are going to Taiwan this summer to play a series of games against the Taiwan National team....that means they get extra practice days this summer....

There are schedules available at the coaches caravan. The MBB home schedule is pretty awful, only thing that really makes up for it is a game against the dungpilers at Golden 1.

Home slate:

11/4 - Pac Union (exhibition)
11/17 - Antelope Valley
11/21 - dungpilers at G1
12/3 - UC Merced (double header with WBB vs USC)
12/17 - Abilene Christian
12/29 - Northern Colorado
12/31 - North Dakota
1/19 - Montana State
1/21 - Montana
1/28 - Portland State
2/9 - Idaho State
2/11 - Weber State
2/23 - Northern Arizona
2/25 - Southern Utah

BSCT - 3/6 - 3/11 at Reno

Non-BSC away games of note:
11/11 - @ Colorado
11/13 - @ Nebraska
11/26 - 11/27 USF & Denver at EWU Tournament
12/1 - @ Pacific
12/21 - @ Washington State

Are we seriously playing a California community college?!?

it's the University of Antelope Valley, not Antelope Valley College....but not much better...

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Just looked them up. Looks like a miniature version of Grand Canyon.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if it were early (i.e. within the exhibition season) AND it were made explicitly clear that it was a JV game (i.e. frosh-soph only). Some schools still do that for football. It would be a good chance for the younger guys to gel in real-game situations, particularly if the upper classmen got a bit dinged up during fall camp....
