Well, it's that time of year again and I saw a little traffic on the interwebs and decided to get this thread going since I have a little extra time today. As always, I'll make additions to this list as the season goes along. Post all recruiting news here.

The staff was in California and Arizona this past week visiting some recruits.

I'll update this when I get a little more time to do the research. I've seen 2-3 more offers come across twitter feeds.

We'll never know but I have to wonder what effect the last two games might have on recruits.

Don't think the way the Eags finished will impact this class as much as the depth at nearly every position. the last two classes definitely wanted to be on the field, this year will probably be a step back with traditional "development" type players. Wouldn't mind a couple OL studs or Royce Freeman at RB changing schools :-) Maybe WSU wants to loose a starting junior OL guy to Eastern again this year? No more TE's unless they are going to be OL or DE's. Visions of sugar plums dance in my head.

I don't think a 6-5 record will effect our recruiting that much, if at all. Some of the best player's we've ever had were recruited during "down" years.

here's mine, in precedence:

Running Back - top priority, we need a back with break away speed.

Safety - don't know what we've got coming in, but we weren't great here. Recommend at least one Pac 12 transfer.

Offensive Line - we need at least 1 or 2 transfers. The Freshmen redshirting will be extremely green and I don't know how many of the underclassmen that played this year are starting material.

Agreed. Nothing bad about finding good guys to develop. Sometimes it takes an extra year to get their "man" size.

O-Line is the most obvious one we could use some help with. Depending on how things shake out, we could have 3 or more Freshman starting on the O-Line. That's probably not a recipe for success. I wouldn't mind seeing us bring in a transfer or two there. Don't disagree with the RB comments.

Linemen, linemen, linemen on both sides of the ball. But we need athletic linemen that can protect the ends of the line on O and get around the end on D. Games are won and lost by the big guys in the middle. It does not matter how great the skill players are if they do not get an opportunity to use those skills we lose.
I'm not all that enamored with drop downs, they are usually a drop down for a reason.

Think we have good young talent throughout the roster, but wouldn't mind a good OL player or RB. Eastern has had some key transfers (Bo) that helped launch this current coaching staff's run. Several FCS programs fueled trips to the Natty on transfers, like Richmond, Delaware, Eastern and SHSU is built with transfers this past two seasons. We have PLENTY of talent everywhere. Not prepared to stigmatize transfers to Eastern with the broad brush that implies any weakness of character or ability. Who wouldn't love the third string back at USC, Oregon or Stanford making a choice for playing time at Eastern :-) The Irish were on the fourth back and he looked spectacular against a good Stanford defense the other day.

Agreed. We have some top talent at the skill positions, would love to see some dominant O and D lines...

We have the size in the interior of the defensive line and I actually think guys like Sarte and Tiuli will be very good players. Where we were hurting this year was the lack of ability to contain the edge.
