Following up a 2015 dream season, head coach Bruce Barnum was able to add some quality to the roster, starting with one of the top overall FCS recruits in the country in 6-foot-7 O-lineman Moustapha Toure. QB Davis Alexander is also a born leader and put up massive numbers in high school.

According one of Barnum's interviews they do have some scholarships left and I believe he said they would award them to walk ons in addition to looking to add some late signees
 
In addition to the scholarship class it looks like there was a pretty good group of walk-ons (whom are key to this team as players like Schlatter, Duronslet, Kloss and Sluss have proven). From what I can tell the following have signed:

DE Noah Yunker -- Summit HS, Bend, OR -- 6'4", 230
WR Easton Trakel -- Tumwater HS, Tumwater, WA -- 5'10", 176
LB Devin Thompson -- Liberty HS, Hillsboro, OR -- 6'1", 215
K Graycen Kennedy -- Wilson HS, Portland, OR -- 6'0", 175

And based on an article linked earlier in this thread

DB/WR Mikaal Geenen -- Osh Kosh North HS, Osh Kosh, WI -- 6'1", 165

may be joining the team as a walk-on as well.
 
Expect to see 2 Offensive Lineman on the roster before spring ball. One is a JC transfer, the other is a 4 yr FBS transfer! :bananahump: Go Viks!!!!!!

Nice, are you able to say which schools they're transferring from? I'd say we're set at OL for next year, would like to see a couple more skill guys come in at RB and WR. Honestly Paris Penn should make a commitment now to one of those two positions as I think he could be an impact player there, but doesn't seem to be able execute the passing game at QB.

Portland State football has added one student-athlete to its 2016 signing class with the addition of Troy Bacon, a transfer from Boise State. Bacon has signed an athletic aid agreement with Portland State and becomes the 17th newcomer to the program for 2016. He will be available to compete in spring practice.
