2017 Predictions

What's everyone's predictions for the upcoming season? I am basing this on of course key players staying healthy, and most of all an improvement on defense. We were pretty young in the secondary last season and we struggled with LB's stopping the run. I hope we've improved in this area.

Week 1. College of Idaho, W
Week 2. Florida, L
Week 3. Colorado, L
Week 4. Idaho State, W
Week 5. N. Arizona, L
Week 6. North Dakota, L
Week 7. Montana St., W
Week 8. S. Utah, W
Week 9. Sac State, W
Week 10. Montana, L
Week 11. Cal Poly, W

That puts us at 6-5 again. I would like to see a win at N. Dakota or NAU, but we play so poorly on the road against both of those teams. Either way, because of the strange schedule and until I actually see the defense improving, we're going to miss the playoffs again.

That's a pretty optimistic prediction Beardown and I hope you are right but this is a very tough schedule. I hope they can get to 6-5 or maybe even 7-4.

I wish we had a bye week between the CU game and the Idaho State game. Not having to hop on a plane for the trip to Boulder will help but playing at Florida and CU in back to back weeks, I wonder how fit our players will be for the Big Sky opener.
