11/11 at North Dakota*
11/18 Portland State*
11/25 FCS Playoffs Begin

Tough non conference schedule per usual, but I like that the toughest game is at home! Tech could be a REALLY high scoring game!

Does Texas Tech still run a pass heavy offense? If so, our odds of playing them close or even winning go up. The rest of the games are completely winnable.

#1 passing offense this season. Almost 100 yards/game more than 2nd place.

I see no worse than 9-2. Probably lose to Texas Tech and we probably drop one of the following: @montana, NDSU, @UND.

I see another big sky championship with this conference slate and I think we win it all next year...

So we don't play ISU, UNC, NAU or Cal Poly.

Cal Poly may have a good shot at a BSC title since they don't play EWU, North Dakota, Montana or Montana State.

EWU has a tough schedule but are going to doggone good!

I think we will drop our first two games but probably go 8-1 down the stretch.

I was thinking something along the lines of what you and KJeagle are seeing.

We need to go 2-2 at the start and will probably then finish with one more loss. If we start 3-1 like this year, then I like our chances of getting another top 4 seed.

Another year, another brutal schedule. I see it like you do, a 2-2 start is required. And 2-2 among that first four games -- three coming on the road-- is no gimme.

We're always going to have to play a $ game. We get NDSU at home, and the Fordham game should be winnable even on the road. The schedule is tough but similar to previous years where we've gone 9-2 or better and certainly more favorable than the one we played this year.

Other than TTU and NDSU, what are you seeing on this schedule that makes it brutal?

I don't have a problem with the schedule. Texas Tech will be a fun game to watch and I think NDSU is a game we'll be competitive in. Fordham will be another tough one but we should be favored in that one. As far as the conference slate, it's anyone's guess as there is just no way to determine who's going to be good and who isn't. We were 6-5 last season.

I would agree with Ranger...I don't think next year's schedule is as difficult as this year. Tech will be a tough game for obvious reasons, and NDSU will be difficult, but it's at home. The possible trap game is Fordham. A cross county road game sandwiched between NDSU and Montana could be daunting. But, if EWU is as good as we think they'll be next season, they should come away with the W.

As for the conference schedule, there isn't really anything to be done about it. It's luck of the draw and most teams are going to be gunning for EWU every year, and next year will be no exception. On the bright side, Montana game is early in the year and weather shouldn't be a factor. MSU is home for what looks to be an up and coming program, and Weber State and Portland State are both at home. Other road games are @ UC Davis (good weather), at SUU (good weather for that time of year), and @ UND (indoors).

I like next year's schedule. I just wish Fordham was coming to Cheney in 2018 to make it fair.
