2018 Schedule is out

Now this is a very good, if not great schedule. There are zero D2 or NAIA schools, a team from the South that we have never played (McNeese) an old NCC rival, and no FBS schools (although I enjoy those and UNC needs the money). Kudos to coach Collins and the athletic department. I can see another winning season with this schedule. The only bad thing is there is bye week until the last week of season. That won't give us rest unless we go to the playoffs.

9.1. McNeese State @ home
9.8. South Dakota
9.15. Sac State @ home
9.22. Weber State.
9.29. North Dakota @ home
10.6. UC Davis @ home
10.13. Portland State
10.20. Northern Arizona @ home
10.27. Southern Utah
11.3. Eastern Washington @ home
11.10. Montana State

Wow, McNeese State is a quite a proper FCS team. Should tell us a lot about where we stand right off the bat. Kind of disappointed that there are no FBS games (don't we need the $$$?) but it's still a really solid schedule.

Pretty sure we're saving some $$$ on basketball scholarships and recruiting trips the next couple years haha.

In reality I'm guessing we figured we'd have 2 FBS games in 2017 so there was less of a need for one in 2018, but Irma had other ideas.
