Thank you to PBP and clawsout for the responses. The schedule would indicated that if we count North Dakota, the Bengals have 8 Big Sky games in 2018 which would be the same as last year. Still, clawsout asks a really good question based on the newspaper article.
The article states:
"The Fighting Hawks' football team, which won a share of the conference crown in 2016, will play a Big Sky schedule as an independent for the 2018 and 2019 seasons and will not be eligible for the league’s FCS playoff automatic-qualifying bid, the school said."
So does the North Dakota game count in the conference standings? Great question.
