Montana's walk-on punter Brian Buschini was named the Conference Punter of the Year for his ability to flip the field, including a 46 yard average that made him 3rd in the FCS, but the very day he got this prestigious award, he entered the transfer portal, hoping for a quick trip to FBS Land.

Wow. The Big Sky landscape will change QUICKLY next fall....

Buschini has an offer from Nebraska, but is also considering MS State, Utah, OR State, and Washington. He is discussing it with his wife.

Apparently, the Bugeaters are serious about upgrading their special teams, as they've recently signed Georgetown long snapper Brady Weas. They DO have punter Daniel Cerni on the roster, but he's been out since suffering a knee injury in OCT 2020.

And, hopefully, there will be NO reports of major Hornets entering the transfer portal this year....
