2021 Season Tickets - AXS App Sucks

Tickets moved to AXS Ticketing this year, and frankly it’s a debacle. I’m a tech-savvy dude, but this app and the process is so cumbersome. You don’t even get search results for “sacramento state” - only “sac” in the app.

After pimping the release of season tickets, no season in 2020, you’d think they Athletic Department would have their ducks more in a row on this…

Sorry to hear this.

And was sorry to hear that the athletic program is moving to this type a system to pay to go see a Hornet
game exclusively

There needs to still be another way to buy a ticket

Like the simple way of going up to the ticket office on game day, putting down $20 or more and getting a ticket and handing it to someone and keeping it simple.

Can see fans in line with smart phones not working and not getting into a game they paid for.
Fans wanting to leave smart phones locked in their car so they don't drop it in the bleachers.
Batteries dying

And all the fans who do not own a smart phone. 20 percent of Americans do not own smart phones . How do they buy a ticket.

Hope the athletic program reconsiders still having the option of purchasing a ticket at the ticket office at the stadium with money or plastic on game day.

The new system is definitely not user friendly

I did find going through the Hornet Sports App made things a little bit easier

Also, has anyone heard about a possible bus caravan to the CAL game like the program has done in the past?

You're exactly right. A couple of years ago, I ordered tickets online for the CIF State Track Meet, and wasn't informed until I got there that the ticket wasn't available at Will Call; it had to be shown on a smart phone. Naturally, I don't have a smart phone. I have a flip phone. I had to pay for ANOTHER ticket at the gate. At least they still had THAT option available, but having to pay TWICE for the same ticket sure whomps. This general assumption that "everyone" has a smart phone is bogus, but people don't care. People are getting disenfranchised left and right with this attitude, and it's driving me N-V-T-S, nuts!

I downloaded the app to check it out but haven't bought my season tickets yet. Note that if you have bought tickets through the ticket office via the online system, you should have an account already created and just have to link it via email to the app. If you've never bought tickets them you'll need to create an account (email needed). I noticed that you can also log in to your account via PC/laptop and buy them that way but, as of now, the tickets will be digital so at some point the app will be needed.

Yes there will be Cal buses.

Having digital tickets is fine and perhaps it is going to be a fabulous new system
but still think there needs to be the option of buying a ticket to a game at the gate like it has been for over 60 years. Options are best. One size does not fit all.

Going to be a lot of upset people when the application goes down right before kickoff as people are lined up with their smart phones outside the stadium.

Bet there are going to be issues

I agree. We can't get the bathroom situation fixed, I don't have high expectations of the digital ticket system working smoothly.
