2023 commits

Smith is a very nice addition.

According to HornetSports.com, the Hornets also landed OL David Dean (Fresno City JC), long snapper Kinnick Manley (Dodge City JC) and kickers Jacob Marroquin (Riverside JC) and Zach Schreiner (American River JC) as midyear transfers.

Hopefully one of those kickers is as good as Sentkowski.

That would be really cool! (Or even better than him!)

Hornet All time kicker list.

1. K. Sentkowski
2. C. Diniz (NOT Jason lol)

EVERYONE ELSE

Pretty sure Juan Gamboa is going to come kick your ass over that one

And Scott Brown was pretty damn good too.

But hey, I don't know anything about Hornet Football.

I’ll throw Brad Cornish in there as #3.

Gamboa had a LIVE leg, but his make % on FG and PATs was not elite. And Brown had the job for 4 years in the 90’s, and has 6 more makes than Sentkowski, who played two years.

Kicking in the modern era (2010+) is so much more dialed in. Better playing surfaces, superior dedicated training and camps. So it’s not surprising that the highest percentage kickers the program has ever had have come during the last decade or so.
