We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

2024/2025 Go time

I didn't go, but this is what I heard. Almost every player played and there was no real starting rotation. Winkel and Ngoyi sat out from what was mentioned. Ngoyi had some serious bounce in warmups. The players you would think to be starters didnt start and did not get a ton of playing time. Those who are mainly practice squad players took all the minutes. McClain looked decent, Mason Williams looks better with some added LBS, Hartman looked the same, Zanki's decision making looks better than last year, Powell will be good off the bench and looks strong, McKenzie will be good next year, and Thomas a good role player.

Basically, how the rotations and minutes went, it's really hard to tell. Guess we will find out next week!

I would throw Marquardt in there as well, he very well could open the season as a starter and Ngoyi be his back up. Ngoyi will be a lob guy and a rim protector. Monson has about 10 guys that will play, it was hard to say who he will open the season as his starting five. I think McClain will be running the 1, Williams will be the 2 guard and take 1 responsibilities when McClain is out. Powell and McKenzie backing up Williams. Hartman playing a bit of 2 and 3. Hartman will be challenged with PT by Elijah Thomas who has good length and bounce. Zanki will most likely come off the bench and play a bit of 3 and possibly some 4. Winkel will be the 4 or the 5, just depends on where they put Marquardt because he is a productive outside shooter and not necessarily a good banger. There will be some tough growing pains early on as Monson finds his rotation, starting five and some tough match ups. Talent wise, this team will be middle of the Big Sky, lack of a few big men and mediocre 3-ball shooters will be our achilles heel. Monson will push these guys to compete hard and improve. With Football in the toilet for the 3rd year in a row, come out and support the basketball team, the games will be fun and competitive (warm and dry inside as well).
