2024 Conference Polls

Worth noting a couple things from Commissioner TW's state of the conference... Teams will have tablets on sidelines and in booths for first time in BSC history. Also, the deal with ESPN has been extended, and the network will add a minimum of two more (total of four) nationally televised regular season conference matchups starting in 2025. This also includes a higher payout to the conference for the broadcast rights.

Will Leota. Only player named preseason All-Big Sky without playing a single down in the conference. That’s how respected he is from playing teams in the non-conference. He caused problems for Montana as a freshman and even picked off a pass.
 
Coach Thompson looked much more comfortable with the media day interview on ESPN+ than he did last year. He confirmed what we already knew -- he will continue to call the plays on defense in 2024 and will rely on Bobby to call the offense and for Jeremy to make Special Teams decisions.

Yes… more money and more exposure required. Inflation has been crazy past 3.5 years so the contracts at minimum need to stay on pace if not beat it to do multi year forecasting as a conference.
Hope the commish got us a solid deal? Terms?
 
Yeah, I secretly want FUCD to get all the community attention, win the conference and surpass Sac in becoming FBS first too. I especially hope the community rallies around FUCD as the hometown team and with all the UC$$ gets a 20,000 seat stadium addition to their already FBS base stadium build.

What a dolt to think otherwise. Since it is the Davis Bee running the article.

I blame the Communists, but there is an outside chance that Joe Davidson is also a Fascist.
 
I’m thinking we have a great shot this season at going to San Jose St pounding the rock on them controlling the clock. Think I read the SJSU D line is thin with experience?
Fresno St without Tedford might be enough of a distraction for them early in the season get Stung!
I love our QB situation!
