We will see if a few more don’t actually commit elsewhere after 1/2, but I get that these were Marion’s guys. This is going to be a record portal year, hope they all have a good backup plan!

Looks like a mix. Johnson-Burrell, Houston, Akui, Etc. were Taylor/Thompson recruits.

Much like the coaching carousel, the portal is off to a banner year as well. Lots of notable players at critical positions at notable programs are hitting the portal. Until the rules are changed, annual free agency is the norm for college football now so I don't see a reason to doom over it.

Saw a tweet about over 3k players already announced for the portal. Add the JUCO and HS players seeking spots too and there are only so many to go around.
