2025 Football Polls

I know some early preseason polls had us as a top 15 team, but my goodness, the sheer guessery that will have to happen in the FCS this year poll-wise will be insane. Especially with Sac State... It would be hard to argue with anyone come July that has us first OR last in BSC polls... With the Spring Portal closed... Here's my guess at the 2025 Preseason Coaches Poll for the BSC...

1. Montana State (7)
2. Montana (3)
3. UC Davis (1)
4. Sacramento State (1)
5. Idaho
6. Northern Arizona
7. Cal Poly
8. Eastern Washington
9. Portland State
10. Weber
11. Idaho State
12. Northern Colorado

Why do you have FUCD ahead of us? Didnt they lose their QB to graduation and RB?
These things are all based on last year results, so until we are 3-4 weeks into the season everybody's guess is just a guess.

I'd put NAU further to the top.

Davis lost a lot of talented seniors. Idaho lost their coach and a lot of their players went with him to New Mexico. NAU should be better and I think that Idaho State should be at least mid pack.

Davis has more depth than they've had since moving to D1. There is talent all over waiting to play. QB and RB positions are ready to go. Larison is being replaced by Jordan Fisher SO (I'd say he's faster than Lan). Biggest question is obviously at QB, but Caden Pinnick looks like he's going to be a stud as a redshirt Fr.

I say Craig Haley w/ Montana at #8 is a big stretch, and I'm not seeing it. I'd probably swap Davis and Montana.
Obviously, Sac at #11 is assuming an entire team of transfers who have never played together can click from day one. Tall task.

Also, week 0 game Davis vs. Mercer is going to be a good one (FCS Kickoff Classic).
