2025 Official Signees Thread

Up to the minute, the count appears to be 27 official signings, including the 10 early period signings on December 4th, and counting.

I don’t recall hearing about any of the 10 early period signees entering the portal after the coaching changes, but if anyone did, let us know here.

goes without saying there are A LOT of guys that are probably expecting to see the ball next year on the ground or through the air. The Vernon Adams/Cooper Kupp era had some prolific offenses but one season stood out in particular, 2015 to the semifinals. 15 games… 8000 yards total offense. 2755 rushing 22 TDs, 5247 passing 58 TDs.

Overall the talent brought in is as good and probably better on paper. Hard to say anybody is better than Kupp and Vernon was special too but top to bottom, this hornet team has the edge. The goal has been set! 😅

I think +3500 yards in the air, with a 1000 yard RB and a 1000 yard WR should be an expectation for this team. Do we have it in the cards for 2 1000 yard rushers or 2 1000 yard WRs? Our home run ability seems like it should be better than ever and we might see some fireworks and big chunks plays often.

We have signed too many RB's. How can we expect to give these guys enough reps to satisfy their desire for more playing time? Unless it will be rotational on every play.
A staple of the Go-Go offense is two RBs on one side of the QB in shotgun. Between transfers, players not invited back, and injuries, we are going to need a strong stable to make it through a year with this offense.

We certainly will need the depth, and the positive for Henderson is that Hammond, Jones, and Curtis are all seniors in 2025. Which may be the main rotation based on experience and I’m sure Henderson will see touches, only a RS Sophomore this season and will assumingely get to feature as the #1 RB for two seasons in 26/27.
