2025 Offseason Portal Tracker

Diego Davis was in the portal and had coach trying to help him find a place. Now he’s back and on scholarship. Seems like things are kind of “fly by night” here at the moment. So much roster movement that it seems like spring ball only mattered to get the guys who are leaving more film

I think a lot of guys withdrew from the portal in the last window for this very reason. Catch is, guys that didn’t jump on offers painted themselves into quite a corner with what’s left now with roster limitations.

I think we can keep 120 through camp, but have to have 105 at season’s start. Who wants to become of those 15 guys that hangs around only to get axed at last minute…. Weird times…

Just watched his UTEP film. He has significant playing time in the last two seasons, 64 tackles last season would suggest probably a starter? According to his twitter he was in the portal in December also, I wonder if he missed all Spring and wasn’t able to get another shot at UTEP. Skills wise looks like a box safety and reliable in the run game, doesn’t look to have stellar speed on his INT returns but plays down hill fast and aggressive tackler.
