2025 Offseason Portal Tracker

I don't know man.... If you give most people the choice of an FCS Frosh AA and Jalen Rashada, most will pick the 5-star with monumental potential.

As far as the RB room, I assume that will sort itself out. Guys that get injured or aren't engaged won't play, and 2-3 guys will be in the backfield every play. I will not be surprised to see Jamar Curtis playing out of the slot either...
I get it but the flip side is the majority of these guys weren't good enough to play where they were. Not all of them but most of our new players are good based on high school rankings not production at the college level. September will be interesting

The CP 5 star Huard was a bust. So it’s not a slam dunk.

I'm not really getting the outrage here. Yeah it sucks Conklin left as I was one of his biggest fans on this board, but this coaching staff didn't recruit him and he isn't a duel threat that Coach Marion wants for his system. Coach Marion is tasked with getting as much FBS talent as possible onto this roster that fits his system. Few, if any, of the skilled position hold overs fits the new scheme. Like it or not this coaching staff has to win now and that means turning over the roster and bringing in guys they believe they can win with.

Yeah, Marion has one good year before he has a great offer.

The environment today requires successful programs to move like tech or startups... fast, unforgiving, and always changing. Coaches don’t get years to build anymore. With the portal and NIL, it’s “what can you do right now?” Win quick or get replaced. Long term plans are nice in theory, but agility and winning are they key metrics now.

Like Bodega says... I'll take one good year from Marion in this environment - we need one good season now more than ever to continue the momentum. Plenty of options on this staff to take the reigns if we go 11-1 and he leaves for the CAL job.
