On Kyle's twitter says he is a def lineman....a big one who looks mean(good for off or def lineman.

6'6" is pretty tall for dline.

Converting a dlineman to an olineman is something Best would 100% do.

Dude probably tests how well receiver or DB recruits can block an edge rusher.

IMO, at Eastern, a really good DL is more valuable than a really good OL. Obviously, you need to put the kid where he best fits and can be most impactful. But a 300 lb DT is a very useful tool in the Big Sky/
 
Your right E-Wu tang clan, Coach best would convert him to the OL. . I hope not, I will take any defensive lineman as we are pretty thin at that position. He might be tall but at least he's not undersized.
 
Kyle I think played dline at Sac State but like E-Wu said Best may turn him into oline. I'd love to see a 6'6 300lb mean sob on the dline...anybody good at defense... it was so very hard to watch our defense.

Big kid. Hope he can contribute right away. I was at the Night of Champions over the weekend. Sounds like we have more OLs coming in. I hope they have some playing experience. If we can get a couple grad. kids to come in immediately and help we may have a chance.
 
Really hope we find secondary, cb's...maybe they have found some. Lost one of our best and the other ones just hard to watch. We would get picked clean and if there were good ones not playing can't imagine they will blossom magically. Trying to be positive and have tried hard last couple seasons but concerned this portal world in which we live is killing us along with NIL monies. We aren't playing the game right...no idea if we even have NIL money(if we do not much) and portal players want to play on a winning team...I'm positive about that!

totally agree Observer. Our secondary was pretty weak last year and I don't see it improving much this year. I just want one dominant defensive lineman who can disrupt. I just want EWU to be relevant again but that looks like a long shot.
