2025 Offseason Portal Tracker

I went to that game, ESPN was there and everything was all professionally done. Its been a pretty steady decline wince Baldwin's coaches and players left.

One game of the nationally televised games is Montana vs Sac State. Sac State went 3-9 last season with one of the wins being over D2 Texas A&M Commerce. I guess they're giving Sac State the benefit of the doubt and thinking last year may have been a down year. Meanwhile, Eastern has strung too many losing seasons together to get the benefit of the doubt. I'd say we're officially irrelevant now.
I'd say we're officially irrelevant now. E-wu Tang Clan. You tell it like it is and I agree. Its sad, it sucks but it's true.

Those players that you speak of all received some type of money. From reliable sources Tuna is possibly receiving up to 6 figures. Visperas is a bit higher then what you are leading in to ( though his original deal fell through), Wortham stated that he had to provide for his family indicating that he received money, and now Ganter was taken in the Spring (and is receiving $$). Besides that, we frequently have those that leave the program because of the way things are right now, and I can agree with that. What I can't agree is that these players aren't being sniped or recruited away with offers or false offers from other programs. While you may not agree, this is what I have heard in conversations. I would agree we have a bit of a sinking ship, however it doesn't change the fact the whole landscape has changed.
I apologize good sir. A source I trust says he is getting 6 figs. May I do need to accept stupid money is being thrown around everywhere.

Tuna was a good back at EWU but not great. It's hard to believe he'd be getting a 6-figure pay-day, albeit at Stanford.
I took it from the dude I talked to as it is cause they're throwing around crazy money atm. Not cause Tuna is a particularly good RB. It could also be the oline too. From what I understand walk ons at big schools are getting $50-60k. Its not inconceivable that someone with years of reps could get over 6 figs.

Idc, if he is good for him, I guess at Eastern kids only get like $3.5k a quarter. Dude going from PBJ sandwiches to steaks.

Tuna was good. Don't think he ever really met his full potential. I can't remember the last "great" back we had at EWU. Maybe McPherson? Think that was about 7 years ago at this point. Up until the that point it seemed like we had a string of really good backs and then all of a sudden not much since then. Lots of small guys.
