• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

2025 Roster Updates

What are your takeaways? Class info updated, signed players with bios at bottom now....

-Looks like all the guys that entered the TP have been removed from roster (regardless if they've committed to new school or now). Guys like Mejia, Da. Gandy, Rose, KB, etc.
-Kuntz back, listed as Sr.
-Bryson Summers listed as a Jr.
-Burnett, Borders, Johnson, and Morris returning RBs

The DeSean Watts redemption arc is still the most fascinating story with the team this season. That dude is a Hornet.

The new potential safeties were listed as DBs. All returning safeties are listed as safeties except for Davion Ross who is listed as an DB. And we still have NB Designations as well. I will be very interested to see the scheme we will run in the back. I think it’ll be five guys, but early things I’m hearing is it’s going to be unique without defined SS and FS roles. Stay tuned.

I think the new RBs are the top three on the depth chart, and I would be SHOCKED if Jamar Curtis is not RB1. With a couple smaller receivers also joining the mix, I am saddened for a guy like Curron Borders. Love watching the kid play and his heart. But it’s a numbers game. Zeke might be the best fourth string RB in FCS Football next season (if he can stay healthy).

Our WR room looks to be the worst room we’ve ever had. Hope these new kids who got no reps in the FBS come in and surprise me. Makai’s YouTube channel has a good series on his post surgery rehab if you guys haven’t seen it. He’s a hard worker for sure.

We have a passing QB and the best RB room in the FCS and no proven wideouts. I think we won’t be showing our hand to much in the spring game as to what we are actually planning to do next year, but we have 8 TEs on the roster for a reason. My prediction for 2025. We are run heavy and throw bombs on play action. 70/30 run but equal yardage because we are going to work on Carson’s deep ball accuracy all offseason.

I didn't major in mathematics, but best I can tell that is 104 names on the spring roster. With a few guys apparently committed, yet still unsigned.

FCS allows 63 scholarships. However, from what I've read, if opted into the recent House/NCAA settlement, those scholarships can be spread among 105 players.

FBS increases from 85 to 105 scholarships, beginning this upcoming 2025–2026 season.
