We are sitting with a QB room of three again on the roster... Given the offense and having the QB be a threat to run, we better be working on QB slides for the entirety of camp.
 
One glimpse into the update roster reveals one thing -- it looks like we are going for a 3-4 defense. Our returning rush ends have all been moved to outside linebacker (Cashiola, Puloka) and Wright's position has been changed to outside linebacker as well. We have 14 guys listed as defensive lineman -- but a lot of them are big boys you might play 1/3 of a long drive. So I would expect a tight to the middle down three that swap in and out a lot.

Couldn't be any worse than last year's effort by the 'defensive' minded HC.

All too new, could either be earth shattering good or we need to outscore every opponent to win again.
Obviously you need to outscore your opponent to win, but not relying on the final play to decide the outcome.

I meant I have heard we are going to see more roster changes in the next two weeks... so a lot of this could change...
 
What I have been told are that there are big names, some we’ve heard and some we haven’t yet, who are needing to ace summer school that are absolute game changers.

I look at this roster (and other variations) and I just don't see how this team can't be dominant this year, even if we don't gel 100%.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I actually don’t even see Keith Conley on the roster anymore?? And Brennon Scott listed as DL, based on our hiring of EDGE coach this defense feels built around running a 3-4. Especially given some of the size we loaded up on for the interior DL and lengthier players brought in that fit the EDGE mold.
