Thank you to Brett Hein. He has been working overtime to get this information. From him, it looks like this will be the first time in years, if ever, Weber will play every DI team in the state. Weber will play @BYU, @Utah and @USU (they owe us a home game). UVU will visit Ogden and Weber will play UTU and SUU twice in league play. Awesome schedule, if it comes to fruition.
Also, just learned that Washington State is going to visit Ogden Dec 9, with Weber agreeing to visit Pullman next year. That is HUGE!! So cool. Love that Washington State is willing to do a traditional home and home with a mid-major. Finally, Weber will visit Fullerton and they will return that game to Ogden next year.
Really great road schedule and a couple of awesome home games. I'm sure the rest of the home schedule might not have a lot of great teams, but I'm liking the direction with where the schedule is headed. Right now, Weber has 6 OOC games, I'm sure we will see another 4-5 on the schedule. I wouldn't doubt if there is a tournament or two (sometimes those tournaments only count as 1 game and depending on where it is played, Weber can get another OOC...weird NCAA rules). Haven't heard if Canales will continue the tournament Weber had last year. I'm sure we will see some surprises in the coming weeks. I just don't want to see Justice College or Lincoln on our schedule.
