Got to hand it to Constantine. His two picks damn near cost them the game but those two runs late won the game. Showed real guts from someone who really doesn't run well.
I'm not so sure. If UND wins out, big if, they are a bubble team and at the mercy of the selection committee. If they would have beat us and won out, they surely would have made the playoff field. As it stands now, they will likely be on the outside, looking in.AlumniWSU said:SWeberCat02 said:With that performance, and they should win out, UND will be a playoff team. Yes, gutsy runs to try & redeem himself to his team after the two interceptions earlier in the game...he said as much in the post game interview on KUTV. Glad for him it paid off.
Good teams somehow pull a victory out of the jaws of defeat in games like this.
Kudos to UND, they played tough...this result should help with their playoff resume even though a L.
Wildcats had best gird themselves up, as they are looking delicious to a hungry bunch of Grizzlies awaiting to ambush in Missoula.
GO WILDCATS!! LET'S GET ANOTHER W ON THE BOOKS UP THERE IN GRIZZLY COUNTRY!! :thumb:

We are in. What we are playing for now is the seeding and home games. We could end up being seeded as high as #2 and having home field advantage right up to the championship game. That's a lot to play for. UM is playing for a top 8 seeding, a first round bye, and at least a first round home game. This next game is huge.

big if? They have UNC and SUU, both at home. They're winning out.

I think North Dakota deserves an at large if they win out, but I’m guessing the committee would put in a 6th Colonial Conference team over them.

They do play their last game at SUU and that will be another bad travel day, just like it was for their ISU game. I don't think that's a gimme. If they do win out, they will be at the mercy of the selection committee. They will be hoping that their resume' is better than the other bubble teams, in the eyes of the committee. I am with you. I think they have a good argument, but they don't really get a say in it.SWeberCat02 said:oldrunner said:I'm not so sure. The BSC schedule must be wrong then. It has the game at SUU. That's how SUUs schedule reads as well. I guess they are all wrong. If they are both sitting at home waiting for the other team to show up, who gets the forfeit win? :lol:SWeberCat02 said:oldrunner said:They do play their last game at SUU and that will be another bad travel day, just like it was for their ISU game. Both games are in Grand Forks. Hawks are good at home and UNC and SUU, well, really suck. Those are gimmes.
