• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Looking forward to hearing more about these young men and getting to know them.

It really seems like we were able to recruit a lot of in-state talent.

Much more so than the past couple of years.

I went to high school with Marcus Saugen's older brother. Haven't seen him in years, but he was always the little kid at the house. 6' 3" 210- guess he is not so little anymore. Lost contact with his older brother but sent him a facebook message today. Very cool. Love to see someone from my HS alma mater go to my undergraduate alma mater!

5 local kids from the GSL... not sure that has ever happened before. Heck, it's rare Eastern pulls 5 kids from all of Washington east of the Cascades.

What's the old Dick Zornes quote? "If you want to win...you don't recruit in Spokane."

Maybe had a little bit more truth back then, but I think GSL football in general is a lot more competitive these days. Also, if you can recruit local talent, it's a win-win.

I think you need that good mixture of local Washington kids, kids from the west side, and California kids to really have a balanced recruiting class and good team chemistry. Looks like we have done that again with this class.

I also think Baldwin has broken the trend of Spokane kids going to the Grz, they have a couple of wa state athletes from west of the mountains but that is it. Big change from a few years ago.

Sure we didn't sign this guy? Heck he sent in at least three LOI. Noticed the third was to a JC but that move was done as a failsafe in case he can't meet NCAA academic standards...ya think?

What a debacle. I would like to see us steer clear of these types of players.
