Wed, Nov 12th, WSU vs. Miami (Ohio) at Los Angeles, California (@UCLA) 5:15 p.m. on KLO Radio 1430 AM

Any chance that this game will be on tv? How about when we play UCLA...

I believe the Miami of Ohio game is on ESPN 360, and when we win and play the Bruins of UCLA, it will be on ESPN 2... Who has 360? A couple of the Red-shirt players want to watch the game with whomever has 360, not to mention CatCat, Me, and PURPLEFOGDOG (the one and only).

Look for Lillard and Bullinger to start versus Miami of Ohio. The Real McCoy probably wont play in this tourney. Ankle injury I believe.

I know that alot of you were up in the big State of Idaho watching a good ol fashion but kicking in football. I know because you can hear the Wildcats chanting the "Weber" State" chant on the television over all Idaho State fans. I was unable to make the trip, but did get to go to the Basketball game. The starting lineup was McCoy, Illard, Davis, Bullinger, Panos. This was a quick team that got up and down the court really well. Davis started fast, and they did not have to wiat five min. to score like the first game. Hansen and Morris then cmae in around the 12 min marker and made a huge difference. Hansen is lights out from behind the line, and Papaskills said that there are going to be nights that he will lead this team in scoring because of his long range. Without McCoy this team loses some energy. McCoy had a block, that was called a foul, on a 6'6" kid that was awesome under the hoop. So his energy and leadership will be missed. This team has enough jucie, and enough moxy to really get in there a battle. Hanse was diving on to the fllor after lose balls, Bull was all over the place on D. Mahoney had two or three blocks that brought all 80 of us in attendance to our feet. This team will be fine against Miami of Ohio.

Maybe McCoy will heal faster than previously thought, and be able to go... I know wishful thinking. I really like the energy of this years team. They are fast and work really well together.

Yee uh! I am stoked for this years team. Regardless of how the team does in Cali, they will be well taken car of. These guys are quick.

So I am a dork and really get into the stats end of basketball. I looked at Miami of Ohio only box score that they have had so far and it looks promising for the cats.

The two stats that I love is thier freethrow shooting. 43.5% That is great for Weber. This may be the only team that shoots freethrows worse then the cats. Here is the other thing that I love. They were 2013 from behind the arc. If they can not shoot from out side they are going to have to take the ball inside, where the majority of foul shots are given up. I think that they team may have a real problem putting points on the board. They on put up 66 in thier exeption game. I think that the Cats can, and will, beat this team, and I am looking forward to hearing it on KLO.

The best thing about the 08-09 Cats is that they create match-up problems for other teams. Weber is quick... The Cats not only can move the ball around quickly, but also, they can get the shots off fast. This was an issue was last years team, Billings in particular. Another thing about this years team contrary to last years team is the explosiveness of the team. Last year there were times that the team struggled to score...I'm almost certain that that wont be an issue with this years team.

Well said, Tal, I couldn't agree more. I think there are a lot of guys who can get a good shot off pretty much anytime. Scoring wont be an issue, but defense and rebounding could be against these much larger teams.

Miami of Ohio will be a good indicator of where the Cats are and what the Cats need to improve upon. I'm sure coach likes the challenge of playing the Redhawks.

Cat's played the Redhawks tough but fall at the end. I think we are going to have a great team but we need to cut down our turnovers and not let the opposing pg shoot 7-7 behind the arc.

Weber State vs. Praire View A & M.. tonight at 6:15 pm MST. Catch it on KLO 1430 AM. How good is A&M? What are the Cats to expect from this team? Doesn't USU play A&M at home every year, which helps the Ag's get a 20 win season that catapult them into the NIT?
