at this point, the only thing that surprises me with regard to our defense is when they actually make a play.

Frustrating. This series will show whether it's just big plays given up or if this is how this game is going to be.

Just a base d with DE's maintaining the edge and safeties over the top would be enough to stop this team. guess they don't trust the tape or haven't seen it. sometimes circular discussions among like minds leads to large errors in judgement. Could be a thousand things. It will get better.... it has too
 
Again starting the game at 11 am is BS. Didn't they bus over this morning too? Don't know why we would agree to early start time and bus same day....

I think Root Sports dictates the start time based on their TV schedule.
 
FINALLY someone in their backfield. Gotta see more of that to do something defensively. Can't play on our heels the whole game.
 
That RB, Newell, is talented. No question. We have to get him down in the backfield, because he is powering through tackles.

He is good no doubt, but not better than some of the other RB's we've seen this year. Our defense is just not prepared.
