Let's give him credit for making some great throws as well.

He made some incredible throws, and has all season. I give him all the credit in the world, because IMO he had another really solid game. Not sure about the call at the end of the game for the big gainer to Kauff, but hey it worked. Don't think they were expecting that one.

BLM has proven he can throw the long ball, and be very accurate doing it. On the flip side, when you're making those kind of throws you're going to get picked off once in a while. We've just gotta find a way to limit the TO's.

BTW mods, why in the **** isn't the ******** hide the **** profanity with ***** asterisks thingy not enabled?

look for a big dose of the Weber game plan from here on in ! We've proven we can run the ball between the 20's just need to become more efficient in the red zone ! Keep Mithcell in the short to mediun range pass and we WILL be tough to beat ! As long as we can get an early lead this mentality should prevail!! Should we fall behind and ask BLM to win it ,could spell doom !! GOEAGS! And yes Ranger, don't know if that pass at the end of the game was a coaches call, hope not !

The bottom line is... if we continue with these turnovers, we will never win a playoff game. We have been very fortunate it still have a "win" with all the turnovers.

All EWU Fans,
...
It would be nice should we criticize, we need to put some positive things about the team and players.

There's no need to be a polyanna (sp?), but taking the time to look back at what went well, can really improve your outlook on life.

Vic, thanks for all you do for the team.

Ranger, as for the late pass, I have to assume the play was sent in from the bench (edit: but it could have also been an automatic read if Brandon gets man coverage). It is reasonable to expect that the defense would be caught off guard by the play, and it did appear to be man coverage. That makes a throw to 6' 5" WR over a shorter CB a good match up. What surprised me was how good the coverage was. What didn't surprise me was the play Kauf made on the ball. It was a good throw by BLM to put the ball where Brandon could make a play on it. When all is said and done, that play iced the game.

Wow. After the barnburner in Flagstaff last year, I'm pretty pleased with Saturday's performance. Our defense looked positively suffocating against a very capable offense. Sure, the interceptions are tough to watch, but we all should have known what we were getting. I'd say so far Mitchell is as advertised. It was also obvious to me that Jones wasn't close to 100%. This is one of those games we would've lost just a couple years ago, but we won because we're more balanced than we were. I'll take that. Finally, the atmosphere in Cheney is much improved. It's good to see all the tailgaters well before the game, and a larger crowd during. It's going to be a great atmosphere in two weeks.
