Hopefully they have a cool homecoming giveaway to take away some of the pain from the beatdown that is most likely about to occur. Max, might want to bring a few extra clipboards.

Does Eastern Washington travel well? I know the Montana Schools fanbases overwhelm the crowd at away games, but I've never been to an Eastern Washington game.

Considering they've looked at moving down a division due to finances and support I am going to assume they do not travel well. https://www.kxly.com/stay-division-i-drop-football-ewu-weighing-options-for-athletic-department/

I drove around EWU a few years ago and it's a spectacular part of the country though looking at their red turf in the bright sunlight of the Summertime was really horrible on my eyes.

Considering they are not the big dog schools in their state (like the Dakota's or Montana's), I agree with Floydcaster, we should not be overrun by opposing fans.

It's not even the end of the first quarter and the Eagles are up by 14. EWU is where we want to be as a program. They don't have great facilities, nor great crowds, but they always find a way to recruit great players. The state of Washington is a haven for talent, more so than Colorado, but we can do better.

Yeah, once again, the gulf in class was just massive. I thought the defense at least made them work a bit but they still had not problem working it down the field and punching it in. We knew we really couldn't compete with the ranked FCS teams and that is showing up big (who's idea was it to make this the homecoming game?).
