It's a close race right now. We have 3 teams tied at 9-6.

If isu gets 4th and finishes 11-7 I sure hope Bill Evans if the unanimous coach of the year.

Regular season winner gets a auto bid for NIT it's better than nothing. And it's not about us and what we want,it's about the players and how far they can go.

Please change your board name to JimBob.

Also Nit is for losers.

There are us out there who do think anything is possible, the tourny loss to east carolina a couple years ago is proof of that yea we lost it on the last shot, but that packed house was very excited about that game.I think we also won 30 games that year.We didn't go to the tourney that year and lose by 40 but it was a good year anyway.Call me what you want but I will be excited for Weber wherever they play and after witnessing the players reaction after the win Thursday they will too.

I don't know about some of you but I quite enjoyed that CIT tourney run.

I know the NCAA is the true goal, and what I'd prefer but a tournament of any kind would be great, I get to watch more Weber hoops and the players get that much more playing time and experience is never a bad thing

If you fall into the trap of saying that certain games don't mean anything then where does it stop? Pre-conference games don't matter, conference games don't matter... anything but an NCAA tourney bid doesn't matter?!? Give me a break.
If none of the games matter except the conference tournament championship game then what is the point? Are you a fan for one game or the whole season?

I love seeing my alma mater play anyone anytime. I love competition and I love college basketball. There is always pride on the line. I want us to beat teams for the sake of beating them. Sure, I understand that some games are more significant than others, I get that, but as long as the game is played and there is a winner and a loser, the game means something!

If only one game matters to you this season why bother being a Weber fan? I'm sure you could find another sporting event that "matters" more.

Couldn't disagree more. In a conference that has exactly 1 NCAA spot, postseason of any kind is something. The years the we got a CIT invitation many people were stoked about possibly getting an NIT invite -- and then somehow Oregon got the spot that was supposedly ours. I know these tournaments are far away from the big lights, but they are really good for the players. Especially when you have a good core of players coming back as I believe there is some carry over.

Don't get me wrong, I want the NCAA, I always want the NCAA. But this is a fun team and I want to see them keep playing...
