This. Hoping for 11-0 or 10-1, but will accept growing pains to the tune of 8-3. I'll be disappointed with 7-4 or worse. I do think we go 1-1 vs TT and NDSU.

I think I may be the only one who doesn't consider the off season coaching changes as something that will effect us negatively. I think we will pick up where we left off in every category.

I absolutely love Coach Best's attitude and culture he's creating. It's a breath of fresh air, and the players have bought into it. The energy is diffetent, and it is fun to see the unity there is. If all that wasn't there, then I would be worried.

I personally feel that our first 4 games this season are tougher than our first 4 last season; mainly due to travel, alone. IF we lose, it will be to TTU, but I'm not sold on that. I see us winning conf outright; tiredof sharing!

I can understand that viewpoint. Were you an Eagle fan in 2008? That season, Baldwin's first, we went 6-5 despite being pretty talented and reaching the quarterfinals the year prior. He had been with the program (albeit not as long as Best, and spent the previous season as HC at CWU) previously and we all know he was (is) an outstanding coach. But massive staff changes can still impact talented teams, which is why many are optimistic, yet have reservations.

Yep, I was around. Beau wasn't involved in any recruiting the year before (as he was at CWU) and really how much was he involved in recruiting the 3 years prior? I don't remember. It's tough to coach a team that you weren't actually involved in molding-- regardless of talent. Look at Montana. That isn't the case with Best. But, I do understand what you said.

Look at the energy level of this years recruiting class. It's special. Beau started that, but Aaron has certainly finished This is where "EKG" comes in. Go Eags!

Agree that EWU looks to be the best team in the sky again...but who do you guys think CP loses too? Weber? NAU? That's their tough games and both are at home. I could see CP either not losing in BSC play or with one loss. Winning the bigsky outright might be tough

I concur...CP doesn't play us, UM or MSU... a tie in the BSC, with the variable schedules, is a strong possiblity.

*CP toughest road game would be SUU and they could lose that one.
