5 guaruntees for conference play

1. There will be at least a three team tie for the final few spots in the Big Sky Conference tournament.

2. At least one school will cry foul about the new schedule and demand a change for the future.

3. Most teams will win at home and lose on the road. I predict we will have 8 teams finishing within 1 game of being .500

4. Northern Colorado will storm the court at least once during conference play.

5. Ian Fox will not win the Freshman of the Year Award. (I know that this is bold and shocking)

You are going out on a limb on that last one. I heard that he is as sure of a bet as there is.

There may only be 2 games separating the top 4 teams at the end.

1. i hope
2. that''s me right now. in my opinion there is no reason to not play them all twice, 22 game conf schedule. i hate the OOC lately. byu and usu (cant even guarantee that anymore) then hope for a tourney then the rest usually shight. i would rather play the big sky. and in football especially i would go for a 10 or 11 game sky schedule. i hate football ooc way more.

3. in 2005 i think it was we had i think a 5 way tie with 7-7 records. that was strange but it was a fun end to the season at least. teams were going into the final weekend with a shot at 2nd place and a shot at not even making the big sky tourney.

4. my philosophy is this...a fan base can never rush a field or court too often. paul the wsu cop and Kimbo the usher really need to chill and encourage this.

5. i am not sure who that is or if it some inside joke?

You don't know about the Idiomatic Ian Fox??? WTF?!? The greatest player to go to a Big Sky School and leave after two games?

Get your facts straight Tal. He played 1 minute in the 3rd game. He finished with 0 points on 0-16 shooting. Mr Velo since your biking obsession has taken you away from us for the last year, let me fill you in. This kid was signed by ISU in the late Spring. He had some nicely made highlight films. But there were some messages on So Cal high school BBall message boards saying that the kid and especially his dad were complete drama. There were some links to news stories how the dad got his first high school coach fired. Not long after the various Big Sky forums started getting messages from Ians dad under the moniker RUHS claiming that ISU was going to win the Sky and Ian was going to get FOY.

The real question is, will Ian still win FOY? He did after all play 3 games, maybe that's all it took to show off how spectacular of a player he was.

Careful, you're bordering on heresy.

IAN FOX...what else could said about this kid. He is a legacy for Bengal Basketball. Someone who took Pocatello by storm. The greats of the Big Sky can't compare. His magical shooting ability 0-16 will be talked about for years to come. Ian Fox all MVP for the Big Sky.
