This topic is becoming more important as playoff seedings begin to sort themselves out. Here is what the Sports Network's David Coulson had to say about it:
"There's a chunk of people, like myself, who have them ranked anywhere from 3rd or 4th down to where I had them on my ballot this week at number 7. And then you have another chuck of people who have them like 13 to 16 to 20...so they still haven't woke up all the voters yet, as far as how good of a team they are. But I've had them in or close to the top 10 ever since their win over Montana. Like I said, this week I had them in at number 7 and really don't see why they wouldn't be a top-four seed if they go on through the year and win the rest of their games."
I took this quote from the latest This Week in Big Sky Football segment. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see Weber State left out of the top-four even if they do win out. Home attendance is weak, although excitement in the community has really picked up lately. Still, the system is not perfect and it's unrealistic to expect perfection in college football.
