Here is what The Sports Network's David Coulson had to say about possible seeds for Big Sky teams. This is taken from the Nov. 8 This Week in Big Sky Football segment:

"I think because of the fact that Weber State holds that very decisive win over Montana, that if you're looking at a seed coming out of the Big Sky Conference, it would be most likely Weber State that would get it. And I think there would be a strong possibility of Weber getting, like, a number four seed, which would mean if they do make it to the semifinals, they'd most likely be going up against a number one seed in the tournament.

"With Montana, I think there's an outside chance Montana could get a seed and, of course, their reputation, the way that they bring fans into Washington-Grizzly stadium, all of those things kind of help out in that regard. But I think you're going to have a crowded group of teams that are going to be looking for those last couple of seeds in the tournament, and I'm not sure Montana will quite be there."

When asked what his top five rankings would be, he played the politician and included three teams in the five spot. I'm going to assume he put Weber State at seven in his actual vote. Here's his "top five".

David Coulson's Rankings:
1. James Madison
2. Appalachian State
3. Villanova
4. Cal Poly
5. Northern Iowa, Richmond, Weber State

In another interesting poll--the AnyGivenSaturday.com poll--notice the parenthesis to indicate the number of first-place votes. Here's the top ten from their 11/10 poll:

1. James Madison 2362 (83)
2. Appalachian St. 2282 (11)
3. Cal Poly 2116
4. Northern Iowa 1968
5. Montana 1901
6. Villanova 1892
7. Richmond 1828
8. Weber St. 1715 (1)
9. Southern Illinois 1650
10. Wofford 1534

The Wildcats have received a single first-place vote each of the last two weeks in this poll.
