Yeah Weber is well aware of dominance. We do that in sports that are far more difficult, more games, more points, less athletes, but more dominance... one example out of many, MENS BASEKTBALL (oh does the All-sports trophy and Presidents Cup matter?).

You must be from UM, academics, sportmanship, characterization, and ethical development aren't important as long as you can win, and win at any cost. YES, the President's Cup is very important. It is one of the last awards that rewards true collegiate success, which is manifested in the classroom as well as on the field. It also, shows which schools are the best all around.
YOu could also tell how much that game meant to Bobby. All this talk about how unimportant Weber is. Yeah he showed that, evidently, as he went running out onto the field and jumped into the biggest creap on your team, arms (74) after the game ended. Yeah, okay, thats sportsmanship huh? Sportmanship is walking across the field and shaking the other players, coaches, and administrators hands. Leave the jumping around to the locker room and the practice field. Once again, he showed how classless he and your program really are.

There is only one thing worse than a poor loser, and thats a poor winner, and your coach definitely takes the booby prize on that one.

i hear a lot of crying. I was in the student section. #30 could have been called for a Personal Foul after 80% of the plays. one corner back flipped off the student section and it didnt get noticed. there was a catch interference call that went against us but was not called agienst you. overall i think if was called pretty decently. your O had 1 play that worked. and you scored a TD. other than that i enjoyed my free chilli at Wendys! MMMMMMMHHHHHHHHHH GOOOD. Your D line was just too small to stop us YESTERDAY. i think on a different day...it could have been closer. sometimes you just get beat and need to give some respect toward a team. Seems like the other weber fans are great about the game and the loss.

no worries, your life mirrors the success of your football team, and that is good, you should have a long and enjoyable life farming in Missoula.....going to saturday football games getting drunk, and eventually marrying one day.....(second cousins are still a relative)

glad you had some chili, probably an upgrade from your usual meals, Jr. Whoppers are pretty good don't you think?

the photos i have from the game show a lot of great plays from your O line:

great holding
great chop blocking
great hand thrusts to the throat
great tackling when a faster and stronger D linemen gets by

great things for an O line that has the size to do great things....enough already......missoula has some great people, hope you meet some of them someday.

thankful that you sell out your stadium every week, BSC needs the money you generate to keep the league in tact, and even though they have PUBLICLY STATED that the officiating in Missoula is LESS THAN THE LEAGUE'S STANDARD.....it continues. that is the reality......good luck in the playoffs, if you get to the semi finals, i'd be surprised, but hey....wooo hoooo BSC champs with a very challenging schedule (haha)

you won, congrats......to the team, they were the better team on that day

Did you sing the same song and dance after the MSU kittens beat your team?

sour grapes
noun plural
Etymology: from the fable ascribed to Aesop
Meaning: 1) "holding, pass interference, roughing the kicker, in-state refs, have a long and enjoyable life farming in Missoula".

Trade you the cup for 10 year ownership of the BSC. Yeah, thought so.
it's all about basketball anyway. football is only good to get us to November. When was the last time you guys were big sky champs in both sports and president's cup winners? i'm willing to guess never.
I hate to say this to both Montana and Weber fans, but unless you have a team you care about, FCS is a joke. it's like watching Texas high school teams play each other. It's not like FBS that's for sure.
The only big sky sport that really matters is basketball, it's Division 1.
Plus, i can see why Montana is so proud of it's 10 Big Sky championships. It's the only good thing they have. They should take pride in it I guess. They definitely can't take pride in anything else, except maybe the fact that their students are so educated they can use the F word as a noun, adjective, verb, and adverb all in the same sentence.

yeah, i watched the game on t.v. Your O line won the game for you, our D line lost it for us.
Oh and I wanted to say your T.V. announcers do a really good job. They seemed really fair and objective throughout the whole game. I was worried it was going to be like listening to BYU's radio homer. I hate the Grebel moron so much! after every 5 yard gain he says something like, "oh if only Unga could have broken that tackle, he would have raced 95 yards for a touchdown!" ahhhh!

Amen to that. Don't get me wrong - I'm a WSU student and want to see the football team succeed and I enjoy going to the games, it's still second best to FBS. In basketball we are able to compare with any Division 1 school in the country. I guess if I had to choose between breeding sheep and Jizz football, maybe I'd choose football - but it would be a game time decision.

I too was impressed with the griz announcers. It's too bad they are the only fair and objective griz fans I've ever heard of.

First, you're quoting the wrong person... I didn't post that.

Second, which has the highest attendance at Weber?

Third, what are you doing on the Football board?

Patten jr. why don't you just post to the basketball thread???? If you only care about FBS football - go to another school. IMO FCS football is very entertaining, and good to watch. "Like two Texas HS football teams" give me a freaking break. How many guys in the NFL came from FCS football???? There are MANY!! BTW one of the best running backs in history of the NFL came from an FCS program - only Walter Payton!! Besides that the Big Sky has a lot of players in the NFL. So don't give me that crap that FCS football is high school. Shut your mouth and go back to basketball.

sorry, i didn't mean to upset any weber football fans. I like FCS football, but only because Weber is in it. I go to as many football games as I can to support my wildcats. But honestly, who cares about watching Richmond play Cal Poly?

And there are probably more people in the NFL who played high school ball in Texas than are NFLers from FCS.... Just saying....

Go Cats. Let's run the table the rest of the way and hope for a little luck. Maybe we'll make the playoffs. But if we don't, I"m not gonna bother watching them.

Weber has only played Post season Bball a total of 3 times in the last 10 years, does that make you a perrinial powerhouse?

Who went to the Post season Play Offs in Football and
Both Mens and Womens Basketball in the following years?
1st hint it wasn't dWeeber State!

1996-97 Montana
2001-02 Montana
2004-05 Montana
2005-06 Montana

So, KL are you trying to say that Montana is a power in Basketball in the Sky?????
In the history of the Big Sky Montana has won the regular season championship 5 times.
In the same time period Weber has been regular season champs 19 times.
Which one is more of power in Basketball???
