So which was worse in the first half, the broadcast or the team? ")

Positives: free throws, 3 point shooting, a flurry of made shots at the end of the half made for a decent (not good) shooting percentage.

Negatives: gave up 11 turnovers (I know its the first game but 11 in a half), giving up offensive rebounds (9), it's a good thing ASU can't hit open shots because they had a lot.

I hope the second half is better for both the broadcast and team.

Second half, the offense was better, but the defense was worse, or maybe the same and ASU finally made some shots. Isiah Brown had a game, 26 points in 29 minutes. Carlson looked good offensively but just 2 rebounds in 20 minutes. Dillon Jones looked good for a true freshman with 6 rebs and 3 steals. Sisoho Jawara was bad, 2-7 and 4 TOs in 23 minutes.

First game but against a bad D2 school. Some positives but not what it should have been. Gave up 60 points and 17 ORs with 17 TOs. Lots of work to be done before we face a decent team.

Couldn’t find broadcast on Pluto TV app...didn’t try hard to find a way to view it. I think Dixie State will be more interesting...provided it is played.

Pluses and minuses for an opener.

Our poor defensive rebounding and turn overs kept ASU in the game. You can't give up 17 ORs and turn the ball over as often as we did and expect to win over a good team.

On the plus side, we shot well and played everybody. A back handed plus is that our areas to improve on were clearly defined.

Losing Percey, potentially for the season, hurts a lot. I'm just glad that it is a freebie sort of season. :coffee:

It was nice to see so many guys get minutes but if the season continues as scheduled I would not be surprised if Coach Rahe shortens the rotation to 7 games even with a lot of experience on the bench.
