Additional game?

Was there an added game put into the Weber schedule, to help with the medical redshirt numbers for Damian? If yes, any idea who/where/when it could be?
 
The athletic department said last week that the game to be added is St Mary's College which will take place after the BSCT so the Saturday after. The WCC tournament ends before the BSCT. A second game will not be added unless we are to not make the BSCT.

Coach also mentioned this game at the last coaches luncheon last week.
 
So San Jose state has to return the game right? There is no way around that right? Next seasons OOC home schedule is looking better. Maybe the best in years... Maybe we can still arrange some home and homes with some other teams from the WAC... Nevada, NMSU Boise St. ect. That would be nice! Are there any chances St. Marys will return the home game? I know it's a big favor, but would also be a fun home game.
 
SMC is doing us this big favor so them coming to the Dee next year is very unlikely.

According to the big sky san Jose has to come to the dee by contract in either of the next 2 seasons. My assumption the reason is scheduling conflicts as why it could be the year after.
 
Well...not only will the Cats get San Jose back, but also, Weber should, if the comish gets his way again, get a home bracket buster game next year. That could be far more important since Weber will have Lillard back and the team will have more experience. I'm thinking Weber will get a pretty good team to come visit the Dee.
 
it is not an if, its already in the schedule, weber along wither all the other big sky schools that play on the road this yr are at home next year.
 
I would love to see St. Mary's come to the Dee, but I just dont see it happening, we havent been able to get any quality programs excluding the instate schools to the Dee.
 
Yeah, St. Mary's isn't coming to the Dee. However, the administration/coaching staff did ask if they wanted to make a return trip to Ogden next year. St. Mary's graciously declined, but they are paying for all of Weber's expenses. That's pretty cool, since we asked them. Also, there is a really good chance that St. Mary's will be playing in the NCAA Tourny so, this game, for them, is being considered a warm up game. wouldn't it be sweet if the Cats went there and beat them? I'm sure they'd never do another favor for us. lol

The additional game is going to occur the weekend after the Big Sky Tourny. Is there a chance, if Weber doesn't get into the NCAA Tourny (I still believe they can do it) that Weber would get an invite to the CBI? I'd like another home game, UNC got one last year. If Weber were to finish second, I'm thinking they would get an invite.
 
They say if Weber makes the tourney we only need to schedule one extra game, but would Weber still need to play St.Marys if we say theoretically speaking... won the Big Sky tourney?
 
I talked to Bigpapa online and he said, that Porter said, that Catcat is a sod, that Dame is getting his redshirt.


Yeah, the St. Mary's game is a done deal. Weber is for sure playing.

Agreed, Catcat is indeed a sod.
 
I have to agree with bigpappa and talhad and bj, that not only catcat but also bobandwaldo is a sod. But at least he gets to go watch the bracketbuster game, you sod. :lol: :lol:
