There may not have been a victory tonight, but this whole season can be considered a victory. From where this program was not all that long ago, the Hornet program is definitely on the rise. And I think the people are in place to keep it going that way! I'm so thankful my son ended up at Sac State and I'm looking forward to coming down for 1-2 more years worth of games of his (depending on his eligibility status...he did transfer in as a 3/2 player so we'll see how this year's treated for him). The future looks good to continue onward and upward...STINGERS UP!!!

It was a really good season.

But it has been a long time

Sac State football has not gone to the post season since 1988 so that has truly been a long, long time.
But that could be a matter of perspective. 31 years for me is a long time for my Hornets to go to the post season.

Incredible year for this football program and so much to look forward to moving forward next year. You and your son and family are fortunate to be Hornets as all of us our but particularly this year and the years to come in terms of football Getting a degree is the ultimate goal because that is forever.

Every day is a Go Hornets type of a day for Sac State students, parents of students, alumni ….
