AIA Classic In Seattle

Man, we look bad tonight.

I'm more impressed with Washington then disappointed with the Viks. But life without JD has been tough so far. Our frontline is just too small for the "big boys," especially without Phillip Thomas playing.

Agreed. UW looks like a force in the Pac 10. However, there is being outmatched, and there is losing by 56. I guess it just got away from us.

Why did Thomas (tree) end up coming in later in the game? The game was out of reach. Very odd.

Re-evaluate my comment, as I was watching on my dvr and was behind the live game. I am disappointed with the Viks' performance and also Geving's coaching. Geving could have called a few more timeouts, get out of the zone earlier, play P. Thomas earlier, so forth. Are you trying to win the game ? Or get back to Portland as soon as possible? No matter what he did, the Viks were going to lose, but go down with a fight at least. I suspect Geving will get better as the season goes, but he looked like a rookie head coach tonight. Washington could well be the Pac-10 champs this year. Let's beat Cal-Poly next Saturday night.

I still feel pretty confident about the season. The talent is still there for the most part and the competition in Seattle was relatively tough. We'll be fine.
