It is on our website. WEBER is hosting Air Force at the Dee on Saturday. 7pm!! I'm tailgating or going to the broiler to get a delicious burger.
ltcpilot said:Hi all, here's to a good game with no injuries. We are excited to still be playing. We had 'hoped' (as everyone does) to get an NIT invite, but in the first 2 mins of our MWC tourney opener our leading scorer (and MWC leading scorer) Mike Lyons went down with a season ending knee injury (Tough luck for him, he's a great kid and will graduate and be commissioned as a 2Lt in May!)...and the NIT selection committee said that was a major deciding factor in 'no AF'.
But our season wasn't over as we fast forwarded and got the NIT invite. Tough road trip out to Hawaii as my Falcons made the long trip to Hawaii and were faced with two flights to get there on Tuesday (as all direct flights were full) and then a 7pm Hawaii time (11pm MDT) tipoff. We were lucky to walk away with the win, fighting thru the fatigue and time change after starting hot, getting cold and hammered inside and clawing our way back into the game. My postgame thoughts http://ricksfalconreview.blogspot.com/
Our biggest concerns with you will be he matchup with your two bigs inside and then the rotation to cover your three ball...it will be a challenge.
You'll see an interesting matchup on the court with defending the Air Force version of the Princeton offense. It is based on the Princeton but the Falcons have added a major twist this year. Gone are the days of not looking for a shot until less than 10 seconds on the shot clock remains each and every possession. Instead they will see an Air Force team that will push the tempo any opportunity they get and look for a transition basket. Easy right? Not really because if it not there then back into the Princeton principles of passing, cutting, back door cuts and/or back for a three....and doing this while ready to take the best shot they can either early or late in the clock. On defense, you will face a matchup zone from AF using both man-to-man and zone principles.
Will be interesting...Go Falcons

hard to believe how little we have played some of these schools over a 50 year span that are driving distance.

Most of the time we play these teams it is always on the road, the last time we even hosted a MWC/WAC team not named Utah, BYU, USU or SJSU was 8 years ago. Craven's last year we hosted Boise State and got smoked.
