Amazing story of first non-caucasion to NBA (wsu player)

WeberHoops.com is working on an article about Wat Misaka who was the first non white player drafted to the NBA. He was born in Ogden and played at WSU when we were a JC. He went on to Utah and then was drafted to the Knicks in '47.

He won 3 titles in his 4 years - JC title, NCAA title, NIT title.

Why don't we know about him? Why don't we know about our JC players and their accomplishments? Heavens why don't we know more about the teams of the last 40 years, their stats, accomplishments, awards, and championships? What exactly does the SID do?

The story of Al Lolotai is another good story from the junior college era. Not surprisingly, it's a story not well known. Lolotai played football at Weber and made it to the NFL to become the first Polynesian (and possibly the first non-white, but I can't conform this) to play in the NFL. Lolotai was Samoan, and I recently saw a story on 60 Minutes about football in Samoa and how Samoans are taking college football and the NFL by storm. Knowing this, Lolotai was a true pioneer, someone who should be celebrated by the University.
