Andy Avalos Names Oregon’s DC

Former Sac State LB Coach Andy Avalos (2011) was named the DC for the Oregon Ducks!

Andy was one of the Boise State transplants from tail end of the Sperbeck era.

Another Boise transplant Hornet Coach, Klayton Adams, is how the OC at Colorado!

Klayton Adams has been fired at Colorado...it happened months ago. He recently accepted an entry-level position with the Colts assisting his old offensive line coach from his days as a player at Boise State.

The best part for coach Adams is that he's learning from Howard Mudd, one of the best teachers in the game for working with linemen. Th other best part is there's no recruiting travel. I know he likes that part!

Actually, Howard Mudd is not the offensive line coach for the Colts. Chris Strausser replaced him and brought Adams in as an assistant. As I stated in my original post, Adams played for Strausser at Boise State.

All true, however, Mudd is the Senior Offensive assistant that is working with both Strausser and Adams.
